Young Students' Artwork Displayed At CCC's Wilsonville Campus

Clackamas Community College partnered with the Parent Teacher Association to bring its children's art exhibit to the Wilsonville gallery.

OREGON CITY, OR — Artwork from students in preschool though high school will be displayed at Clackamas Community College's gallery in Wilsonville throughout the month of March as part of a partnership between the college and the Parent Teacher Association's Reflections Program.

While the reception for the exhibition is scheduled for March 10, the free-to-the-public gallery will display the works from March 1 to 31 at 29353 S.W. Town Center Loop East.

"We're so used to having adult work here, we're excited to share the kids' creativity — it's adorable," CCC spokeswoman Joyce Gabriel told Patch Thursday. "We believe in reaching out to the community and anyone who wants to express their art. For the kids, giving them the experience of seeing their artwork in a gallery — to inspire them to keep going — was important to us."
