The original German Oktoberfest tradition takes place every year in Munich. It’s a cultural extravaganza, and this year, its celebrating it’s 184th anniversary. Now that’s a lot of beer!

When it comes to celebrating the German tradition in the states, Oktoberfest events in Pennsylvania are famous for paying tribute to the country’s heritage and rich culture, as well as serving up a ton of German food and beer.

2017 Oktoberfests Across Pennsylvania

26th Annual Ambler Oktoberfest, October 7th

  • Main Street, Ambler
  • Come celebrate Oktoberfest and the German heritage in downtown Ambler. The 26th annual Oktoberfest kicks off at 11:00 AM on October 7th with live music, games, and of course, plenty of beer. Over 90 vendors and 10 food trucks will help satisfy the hunger you're sure to build up throughout the day.

Mifflinburg Oktoberfest, October 6th-7th

  • 10770 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg
  • Mifflinburg's German heritage is alive and well! Check out this year's Oktoberfest, eat some authentic German food, drink some great beer, and listen to traditional German music. Events include hay rides, live dancers, and even a keg toss!

Bethlehem Oktoberfest, October 6th-8th & October 13th-15th

  • 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem
  • Now in its 7th year, Oktoberfest is a free festival that features brew samples, authentic German food, beer and live music, as well as attractions like the axe-wielding lumberjacks of the Great Lakes Timber Show, the exciting Beer-Lympics competition, the Hobby Horse Bonanza, the popular dachshund races, local artisans and more.
