'Biden Barn' Burns Down In PA; $13,000 Raised In 24 Hours
A Pennsylvania barn that was decorated in support of President Joe Biden burned down overnight.
REEDSVILLE, PA — A barn decorated in support of President Joe Biden's 2020 presidential campaign burned down during the early hours on Saturday. Owners of the "Biden Barn" had a message that read "Unity over Division" painted on the structure before large flames were noticed coming from the barn on Tea Creek Road in Reedsville around 1 a.m., according to reports.
The fire was described as a "high risk" blaze by the Reedsville Fire Company, which got help from several nearby fire agencies to put out the flames.
The barn appears to be a total loss, but a GoFundMe effort has already raised more than the $10,000 it sought to rebuild. More than $13,000 had been raised within 24 hours. An anonymous donor led the way with a $873 contribution.

Pennsylvania State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta said the Biden Barn's "Unity over Division" message was not just a phrase to the owners, identified by him and in the GoFundMe campaign as Robin and Lawrence.
"It's the values they instilled in their kids and how they live," Kenyatta, a candidate for U.S. Senate in the 2022 Democratic primary, wrote on Twitter Saturday.

Fire officials haven't stated what they believe caused the fire, only that it's under investigation, but Kenyatta and the GoFundMe description have implied that someone purposely burned it down.
The barn was used as a venue to bring voters and community members together during the 2020 election season, according to the GoFundMe.
"Honking horns in support and against the barn could be heard all day and all evening every day," the campaign stated, claiming previous attempts to burn the structure down had failed.
"They can burn a barn, but they can’t tear us down," Kenyatta said. "So many people stepped up with the kindness and compassion to help Robin and Lawrence today — this is what community looks like."
