'Bobcat' In PA High School Just A House Cat: Report

All students at West Scranton High School were sent home early after a house cat thought to be a bobcat was wandering the school.

SCRANTON, PA — Students at a northeast Pennsylvania high school were sent home Tuesday morning after what was thought to be a bobcat was loose in their school building. All West Scranton High School students were sent home at 11 a.m., according to the district.

But it turns out, it wasn't a bobcat but rather a house cat that resembled a bobcat, according to WNEP.

The district said it worked with animal control and the Pennsylvania Game Commission to get the animal under control.
