PA Has 7 Of America's Best Restaurants, New List Says
OpenTable recently published its list of the 100 best restaurants in the country, and seven of them call Pennsylvania home. See them here.
PENNSYLVANIA — Looking for a top-notch place to get a meal? Well a new list lays out the 100 best restaurants in the nation from this year, and seven of them call Pennsylvania home.
Restaurant reservation booking website OpenTable recently released its list of the Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2019.
OpenTable users voted for the selected restaurants between Oct. 1, 2018 and Sept. 30, 2019.

Pennsylvania was tied for second place with Florida and New York for having the most restaurants featured, each having six make the list. California had the most on the list with a whopping 22 restaurants.
Five of the Pennsylvania restaurants are in Philadelphia, and one is in Cedars.

Here are the Pennsylvania restaurants featured:
- Ambra - Philadelphia
- Bibou - Philadelphia
- Double Knot - Philadelphia
- Noord - Philadelphia
- Olce Pizza Grille - Cedars
- Tomo Sushi & Ramen - Philadelphia
- Vernick Coffee Bar - Philadelphia
"Whether a restaurant has received national accolades or is built on local fanfare, our Top 100 reflects diners' favorite culinary experiences across the country," said OpenTable COO Andrea Johnston. "What ultimately ties these restaurants together is their excellent hospitality paired with incredible dishes, which is why diners are applauding them with rave reviews."
Similar to last year, American and Italian cuisine dominated the list; however, this year French cuisine proved to be a new favorite, according to OpenTable.
Other global cuisines were represented on the list, such as Japanese, Latin American, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern, showcasing a growing appetite for more diverse and globally-inspired flavors, OpenTable said.
