Pennsylvania's Best School Districts: New 2020 Rankings Released

PENNSYLVANIA — Data compiler Niche has ranked Pennsylvania's best school districts for the 2019-2020 school year. The rankings were released Monday as part of the website's 2020 K-12 rankings.

Each Pennsylvania district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)

The top-ranked school district in Pennsylvania is Tredyffrin-Easttown. Niche gave Tredyffrin-Easttown an A+ or A in all categories except for diversity, for which it received a B-.

The top 38 schools in the ranking received an overall grade of A+. Schools 39 through 75 received an A. Schools that came in 75 to 100 on the below list received an A-.
