Jenn and family of Cinnaminson, NJ
The Shining

Jenn, her husband, and four kids dressed up as characters from the movie "The Shining." Jenn says: "We were attending a Birthday party with a horror theme, so we decided on a family costume of 'The Shining'."

Levi and Roen of South Brunswick, NJ
ET

The twins' mom Rachael says: "We really love Halloween in this family and coordinate the twins costumes each year (while they'll still let me anyway!). We watched E.T. on one our of family movie nights and the twins fell in love with the gentle alien. We ended up with a plush E.T. doll a few weeks later and that's when the costume idea came about. Nostalgic for the adults, and fun for the kids. Roen was a little sad his bike didn't take flight, but the Reese's Pieces made up for it."

GRAND PRIZE

Brian Southrey of Galloway, NJ
Top Gun

Southrey says: "Our theme this year is "Top Gun." I am going as Goose and my 3-year-old son is Maverick, Southrey says." Each year, he makes his son a costume to fit around his wheelchair. Read more about Southrey and his son's costume here.
