These 6 PA Residents Are Among Richest In America, Forbes Says

PENNSYLVANIA — Forbes estimates that Mars Inc. Chairman and heir Victoria Mars has a net worth of $7.8 billion. In addition to making her state's richest resident, it makes her nearly twice as rich as any other Pennsylvania resident.

Forbes released its 2020 Forbes 400 list of the richest Americans Tuesday, and six Pennsylvania billionaires made the cut.

Mars was ranked 74th overall.

Five of the six people featured on the list are from the Philadelphia area, while one is northwestern Pennsylvania.

The rest of the Pennsylvania residents on the list, with their overall ranking and net worth, are listed below:

74. Victoria Mars, of Philadelphia, Mars Inc. — $7.2 billion
213. Thomas Hagen, of Erie, Erie Indemnity — $3.7 billion
213. Mary Alice Dorrance Malone, of Coatesville, Campbell Soup Company — $3.7 billion
228. Michael Rubin, of Bryn Mawr, Kynetic — $3.5 billion
238. John Middleton, of Bryn Mawr, John Middleton Inc. — $3.4 billion
319. Jeffrey Lurie, of Wynnewood, Philadelphia Eagles — $2.9 billion

Amazon's Jeff Bezos leads the overall list with a net worth of $179 billion. The best second-place of all-time belongs to Microsoft's Bill Gates at $111 billion and third is Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg at $85 billion.

President Trump landed at No. 339 following a $600 million loss in net worth, Forbes said. He's still worth $2.5 billion.
