These Are The 10 Safest Towns In PA, New Analysis Says

PENNSYLVANIA — Where are Pennsylvania's safest places to live? A new ranking attempts to answer just that.

SafeWise, a security product review platform, has ranked the 10 safest cities in the Keystone State based on recent crime statistics and data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The organization ranked 50 Pennsylvania cities in 2021 using recent crime statistics and data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

According to SafeWise, 136 Pennsylvania communities met the criteria to be considered for the ranking. Seven of the cities on the list reported no violent crimes and 25 reported fewer than five total violent crimes.

The rankings are intended to highlight cities with low crime rates and to inspire municipalities to talk about how they can make cities safer, according to the SafeWise website.

  3. Brecknock Township (Berks County)

  7. East Brandywine Township (Chester County)
  8. Lower Salford Township (Montgomery County)
  9. Spring Township (Centre County)
  10. West Cocalico Township (Lancaster County)
