3 Injured When Ski Lift Chair Falls At Camelback Mountain
A father and his two children were hurt when the chair they were riding in detached from a ski lift line at Camelback Resort.

POCONO TOWNSHIP, PA — Three people were injured when the ski lift chair they were riding in detached from the lift and fell about 15 feet before hitting the ground.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Camelback Mountain Ski Resort in Monroe County, The Morning Call reports.
A father and his two children suffered injuries, according to ABC Channel 6. Doug Mackie, of Easton, told the TV station he was skiing with his son when he let the three go ahead of him on the lift.

"The chair fell, and I saw the dad reach for his kids as they fell," Mackie said.
They were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The incident is being investigated.

"We are devastated by the weekend's events on the Sullivan Lift and our hearts go out to the family involved," Camelback said in a statement. "We thank you for your patience as we continue to conduct a thorough investigation."
Sullivan Lift continues to remain closed, according to Camelback's Facebook page.
