20 Firearms Turned In At Whitpain Gun Disposal Event
A total of 65 firearms, including an Uzi, were collected by eight police departments across Montgomery County this month.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A total of 65 firearms were collected from a recent gun disposal event organized by the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
The "Operation Safe Homes" event aims to provide an outlet for residents to safely dispose of weapons they no longer have a use for and aren't sure what to do with. Instead of selling it to a dealer, the DA's office collects the weapons and destroys them.
Among the weapons collected in the 2019 event were semi-automatic handguns, revolvers, long guns, and an Uzi.
