4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Canceled In Ambler

AMBLER, PA — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

Ambler's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate Independence Day.

July 4 Festivities

Ambler

Ambler's 2021 fireworks celebration is canceled. A statement was released by Kiwanis, the event's organizers: "The logistics, number of required volunteers, and space required made coordinating this years beyond what our small group of volunteers could safely pull off. We welcome new members to join Kiwanis Club Of Ambler PA to help us pull off future events - and we hope to host a family friendly event later in the year."

North Wales

North Wales' 4th of July Parade is on. It will be held on Main Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lansdale

Lansdale does not have 4th of July fireworks, but the Founder's Day celebration and fireworks are back for 2021 on Aug. 28.

Norristown

Norristown has not announced details for their 2021 event yet, but officials have indicated a celebration will be held. Check back for details.

Lower Providence

Lower Providence's 2021 fireworks will be held at dusk on 4th of July. A celebration featuring a DJ begins at 7:30 p.m. at Eagleville Park.

Pottstown

Pottstown's GoFourth celebration is on as scheduled, with events planned throughout the day on 4th of July. Fireworks are slated for 9 p.m. Details.

Colebrookdale Railroad

Ride the historic Colebrookdale Railroad to get to the fireworks in Pottstown.
