'50 Shades Of Maple Glen' Sex Basement Home Remains On Market

MAPLE GLEN, PA — The Maple Glen home that sparked an Internet sensation and even some angry neighbors for its notorious sex basement and a marketing campaign linking it to "50 Shades of Grey" remains on the market.

The five-bedroom, 5,000-plus square foot home at 1612 Norristown Road in Maple Glen that also features a "private adult sexual oasis" is up for sale for $750,000.

Melissa Leonard, the Coldwell Banker realtor who listed the home, held on open house event at the home back on March 24. Thus far, no deal has been reached.

The couple behind the home, Vince Marie and Priscilla Costa, originally installed the sex equipment so that they could turn the home into a viable Airbnb rental while they waited for the right moment to sell, as the couple related in series of Youtube videos that offer a revealing glimpse into their thought process.

When the for sale listing went up labeling the expansive property in a well to-do, quiet neighborhood as a "50 Shades" home, it drew the anger of a few neighbors. But it also drew prospective buyers from around the globe.

"I have been hearing from people all over the world," Leonard told Patch in February. "So it truly went viral."

Known as "Maison XS" on Airbnb, the home can be reserved for $855 per night.
