The man told police he "felt like an MMA fighter" in beating his father to death with his fists and the butt of a knife.

AMBLER, PA — An Ambler man was arrested on Christmas Eve after beating his father to death the day before, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred on Monday, Dec. 23 sometime before 2 p.m. on the 1800 block of Hood Lane, in the Ambler section of Upper Dublin Township.
Maximillian Christopher Han, 28, told police that he was "pissed off" at his father, Jinhan Han, 58, that morning, but did not elaborate on why, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

He told police he "felt like an MMA fighter" punching his father and using a knife to smash his skull, according to authorities.

Maximillian's mother and Jinhan's wife found Jinhan bleeding from the head when she arrived at home, and immediately called 911, police said.
Jinhan Han was dead when authorities arrived at the scene.
The DA's Office said police found bloody towels and evidence that a clean-up attempt had been made. In addition, a box-cutter knife was found near the elder Han's body, as well as a butcher knife with a broken blade tip.
Maximillian Han was arrested on Dec. 24 and charged with first and third degree murder, tampering and fabricating evidence, and related counts.
No bail is offered for first degree murder, and Han was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 2., 2020.
