Ambler's Broad Axe Restaurant To Shut Down
The popular local bar and grill announced that it will close for good this Saturday.
AMBLER, PA -- The Broad Axe Tavern, a popular bar and grill in Ambler, announced that it will close for good this weekend.
Owners said in an announcement that the Saturday, Jan. 19 would be their last day of operation.
"We, the staff and management thank you for the memories and your patronage over the last 10 years!" the tavern said in the announcement. "We will miss you!"

They added that the closure was due to "ownership and the lease," and was not related to the business or their competitors.
Broad Axe is located in a historic building on 901 W. Butler Pike.
