Bat Tests Positive for Rabies in Upper Dublin

A bat tested positive for rabies in the Ambler section of Upper Dublin Township on Sept. 25, according to a Montgomery County Health Department flyer.

If anyone in your family has been bitten, scratched, or had salvia exposure to a bat must receive treatment for rabies, which is fatal.

If anyone in your family has had contact with a bat or other stray or wild animal, call the Montgomery County Health Department at 610-278-5117.
