Beloved Wissahickon Firefighter Passes Away
Rest in peace, Wissahickon Fire Company Firefighter Frank Talese.
AMBLER, PA — A beloved firefighter with the Wissahickon Fire Company has passed away suddenly, authorities announced Wednesday evening.
Frank Talese, who is also a local business owner at Level 2 Hair Designs, has been with Wissahickon for 46 years, since 1971.
"He was a beloved member, leader and a true friend to us all," the fire company posted in a heartfelt statement Wednesday. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as well as our support. He is our brother and you are our forever family. Peace be your journey home Frank, you will be missed."

Talese served as an administrative officer and Chairperson of Active Workers with the Fire Company, officials said.
