Blue Bell's Fiberlink Acquired by IBM
Fiberlink recently developed a MaaS360 cloud-based platform.
Blue Bell software firm Fiberlink has been acquired by IBM, as reported on MarketWatch.com.
With the acquisition comes Fiberlink's MaaS360 cloud-based platform, per the report.
MaaS360 allows organizations "to share, secure and manage information for smartphone, tablet, laptops and other mobile device users," per the report.
The acquisition is in line with IBM's push toward enterprise mobility management.
