Chimney Fire Damages Lower Gwynedd Home
The fire broke out Saturday night during the snowstorm on Wood Spring Road.
While a snowstorm pounded the region Saturday, North Penn Fire Co., Center Square Fire Co., Fire Department of Montgomery Township, and Wissahickon Fire Company did their best to control a chimney fire at 310 Wood Spring Road in Lower Gwynedd shortly after 7:04 p.m.
Per The Ambler Gazette, the fire spread into a living room wall of the home. Residents reported seeing flames coming out the sides of a wall-mounted TV that was above the mantel.
Crews were on the scene for two hours, but the fire was under control in 15 minutes.
