DUI Charges Pending Against Glenside Man in Whitpain Crash, Police Say

Kevin Burns, 35, of Huber Street, Glenside, allegedly rear-ended a Jeep at Penllyn and Skippack pikes, police said.

Whitpain Township Police report charges of DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia are pending toxicology results against a Glenside man allegedly involved in a crash Dec. 27.
Police said officers responded at 8:46 p.m. to a two-car crash at Penllyn and Skippack pikes, and found that a blue Ford driven by Kevin Burns, 35, of Huber Street, Glenside, allegedly struck the back of a red Jeep stopped for a red light.
During the investigation, Burns was allegedly intoxicated and was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital for a blood test to determine BAC, police said.
Police also located a small amount of marijuana in Burns' car, police said.
