From The Gallery To The Streets: Public Art Coming To Ambler

A new initiative by the Philadelphia Museum of Art will bring replicas of works of art to neighborhoods around the region.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art has launched a new initiative that will bring art to the streets of suburban communities throughout the region, including Ambler.

“Inside Out” will bring sixty high-quality replicas of some of the Museum’s - and the world’s - greatest works of art to neighborhoods in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The program, which runs from May through November, will come to Ambler beginning in late August.

Aiming to help residents ”encounter art in unexpected places,” some featured painters will include: Claude Monet, Georgia O’Keefe, and Paul Gaugin.
