'Hello, Blue Bell': New Children's Book Captures Local Area
Local author Colleen Venturino has captured many area landmarks in a new children's picture book that pays tribute to the region.

BLUE BELL, PA — Local author Colleen Venturino has captured many area landmarks in a new children's picture book that pays tribute to the region.
"Hello, Blue Bell" features numerous scenes from around town, including Wenz Run Park, Blue Bell and Shady Grove Elementary Schools, Blue Bell Inn, Wings Field, and many other local sites.
Venturino said dedicated the book to her grandson, Cooper, who lives in Blue Bell. She gave it to him for his first birthday.

"I’m hoping that the book will encourage young ones to take an interest in the places right outside their front door and to 'love local!'" she said.
During the story, a little boy and his family adventure around various landmarks. Venturino took photos of places around town and worked with an illustrator to bring them to life in watercolor.
