GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA — A historic Montgomery County mansion that once hosted Princess Grace and General MacArthur will be auctioned off this month.

The mansion located at 1336 Gypsy Road in Gwynedd, includes 3.5 acres, a wine cellar, gated entrance, resort-style pool, patio dining area, sunroom, and more.

Global auction firm Coneirge Auctions will open the auction online on Dec. 14. The auction will end at a live bidding in Hong Kong on Dec. 19.

According to Conierge, the sale is "particularly targeting" Chinese real estate investors who have high net-worth, but bids can be made by anyone.

The property is currently listed at $3.7 million. It was listed at $4.1 million as recently as late July.

The property dates to 1898, when it was built as a "country estate" for investment mogul Edward Smith.
