Local Abington Area Actor Performs in Disney's "Aladdin Jr."
Nathan Esser of Blue Bell plays Babkak in the Walnut Steet Theatre's upcoming production of Aladdin Jr.
Shining, shimmering, splendid! A young actor from Bluebell plays Aladdin’s trusty friend, Babkak, in the Walnut Street Theatre’s production of Disney’s ALADDIN JR, beginning September 22nd through September 30th.
Based on the timeless animated film and hit Broadway show, Disney’s ALADDIN JR. is filled with magic and thrills the whole family will enjoy. When street urchin Aladdin falls for the strong-willed Princess Jasmine, he gets help from a fun-loving Genie to outsmart the wicked Jafar and win her hand. Get on your flying carpet and join us on a soaring musical adventure!
Nathan Esser of Blue Bell is a Junior at LaSalle College High School where he partakes in his school’s theatrical productions in addition to shows at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School. He earned his musical skills through studies with vocal coach Jannine Babo and dance instructor Stephen Casey. Past companies Esser was involved in include Fort Washington School of Rock, Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company, Bristol Riverside Theater, and Media Theater. Currently, Esser is rehearsing to be the titular role of Conrad birdie in his school’s production of Bye Bye Birdie.
