Man Found With 90 Bags Of Heroin In Ambler: Police

A warrant has been issued after the man was found with a massive amount of heroin over the summer, police said.

AMBLER, PA — Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man who was found with a massive amount of heroin in Ambler last summer.

Matthew Steven Donnelly, 51, of Catawissa, faces charges of possession with intent to deliver and related counts.

The incident occurred on Aug. 21 at around 8:45 p.m. on the 300 block of Euclid Avenue.

Police pulled Donnelly over for "traffic and equipment violations," they said.

During the stop, they said they found 90 bags of heroin in the center console of Donnelly's vehicle.

A warrant was issued on Sept. 30, but police said on Oct. 14 that Donnelly was still not in custody.
