Montgomery County 4th Of July Fireworks Guide 2021

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, which means there is even more reason to celebrate this Independence Day. July 4 is almost here, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in Montgomery County:

July 4 Festivities

Lower Providence

Lower Providence's 2021 fireworks will be held at dusk on 4th of July. A celebration featuring a DJ begins at 7:30 p.m. at Eagleville Park.

Norristown

Norristown's 4th of July celebration will feature a DJ, games, food, and more leading up to the evening's fireworks celebration. Things kick off at 1 p.m. with a celebration at Elmwood Park Playground; fireworks are slated fro 9 p.m. Details.

Glenside

The Greater Glenside Patriotic Association's "America the Beautiful Aerial Fireworks Spectacular" will be held after dark on July 4, at Abington High School.

A Children's Morning Program begins at 10 a.m., with a parade scheduled for 4 p.m. Details here.

Lansdale

Lansdale does not have 4th of July fireworks, but the Founder's Day celebration and fireworks are back for 2021 on Aug. 28.

Ambler

Ambler's 2021 fireworks celebration is canceled. A statement was released by Kiwanis, the event's organizers: "The logistics, number of required volunteers, and space required made coordinating this years beyond what our small group of volunteers could safely pull off. We welcome new members to join Kiwanis Club Of Ambler PA to help us pull off future events - and we hope to host a family friendly event later in the year."

North Wales

The North Wales 4th of July Parade will be held on Main Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Upper Merion Township

Upper Merion has made no announcements on 2021 fireworks after their 2020 event was canceled.

Pottstown

Pottstown's GoFourth celebration is on as scheduled, with events planned throughout the day on 4th of July. Fireworks are slated for 9 p.m. Details.

Colebrookdale Railroad

Ride the historic Colebrookdale Railroad to get to the fireworks in Pottstown.
