Montgomery County Community College Foundation’s fundraising campaigns are available
now online as it launches a new crowdfunding hub to promote initiatives that will
benefit students and community members.

“Crowdfunding allows us to share MCCC’s projects with the community to increase awareness
and engagement,” said Joseph Gallagher, Chair of the MCCC Foundation Board of Directors.
“It gives donors the flexibility and convenience to support projects that are of interest
to them and to see the impact of their gifts.”

MCCC will be highlighting different initiatives throughout the year on the crowdfunding hub where anyone easily can make online donations and share the information via social
media.

In addition, supporters may join in the fundraising efforts by creating and sharing
their own pages from the crowdfunding platform using the “Get Started” button.

MCCC’s current crowdfunding campaigns include:   

Established in 1983, the Montgomery County Community Foundation provides scholarships
for deserving students; grants for faculty projects, equipment and technology; emergency
funds for students; support for cultural enrichment activities on campus; and financial
resources for other programs and activities
