New African And Caribbean Restaurant Opens In Ambler

AMBLER, PA — Great news for local dining aficionados: a new African and Caribbean restaurant has opened up its doors in Ambler.

Buutchiis Grille, located on 35 E. Butler Pike, celebrated its grand opening on June 1.

The eatery focuses on authentic African and Caribbean dishes, using American Southern style wood and charcoal grilling, along with smoking, to prepare dishes.

Some specialties include jerk chicken, fried lantains, rice and peas, fufu with peanut butter soup, and banku fish with fried tilapia and hot peppers.

The grille began as a popular food truck, and can be found at the West Norriton Farmers Market in the Super Gigante Parking Lot come Sundays.
