An exact opening date has yet to be determined, but owners said last week that they anticipate making an announcement soon.

The brewery will be just the latest addition to a fledgling Montgomery County beer scene, which also features popular local joints like Round Guys Brewing, Iron Hill, Forest and Main in Ambler. and Blueprint Brewing Co. in Harleysville.

The owners are a group of five friends who met in college in 1999, their website states. They began brewing in 2007 as they "studied, trialed, and tweaked well water to better understand how the water chemistry adds complex personality to craft beer." As their beers grew more and more delicious, they decided to open a brewery.

Well Crafted has been pouring their beers at festivals around the area for a few years, including the Lansdale Beer Fest and Conshohocken Beer Festival.
