New Parking Charge Of $1 An Hour Set In Ambler
Ambler has completed the installation of new parking meters and signage around the borough. Free parking is no longer available in December.
AMBLER, PA — As the holiday season gains momentum and more shoppers come into town, new procedures have been implemented for parking in Ambler.
The borough has completed the implementation of new street parking meters. The new meters carry an increased meter fee $1, up from 50 cents.
In addition, free parking is no longer available in the busy month of November.

Many residents expressed concerned that the changes would frustrate holiday shoppers during the busiest time of the year.
Metered parking limits were also increased from an hour to two hours.

Payment can still be made with coins, but can also be made via the Flowbird Mobile Parking app.
Free parking does remain in place from noon to 2 p.m. daily, according to Ambler Main Street.
