Pennsylvania's Red Land Heads To Little League World Series: Full Schedule

The unstoppable team from Pennsylvania has outscored opponents by an almost unbelievable 244-13 in the tournament thus far.

They did it again.

After tearing through preliminary rounds with outrageous scoring from a red hot offense, Red Land Little League did not slow down when they reached the regional level of competition.

Representing Pennsylvania in the Mid-Atlantic Region final on Sunday, Red Land defeated New Jersey’s Jackson Township by a final score of 12-0, per the official Little League website.

During this stage of the Little League tournament, Red Land outscored their opponents by a frightening 36-5.

Red Land has a perfect 16-0 record thus far in the tournament and has outscored opponents by an almost unbelievable 244-13 since the tournament began.

So not only is their offense like the Toronto Blue Jays, but with a pitching staff ERA of under 1.00 for the postseason, they’re making the St. Louis Cardinals flamethrowers look tame.

The York County-based sluggers will face off against the Midwest Region and Missouri champion team, Webb City Little League, on Friday, August 21, at 8 p.m.

Fans of the Keystone State’s finest Little League team can tune into ESPN to watch the game live.

The loser of that matchup will play the next day against the loser of Cranstone Western, Rhode Island and Northwood South Carolina.

The winner, meanwhile, will face the victor of the the Rhode Island-South Carolina game on Sunday after a day’s rest.

The tournament is double-elimination, meaning that teams are eliminated from the world series after two losses.

Over 10 days, 32 games will be played between the eight American and eight international teams that qualified for the tournament.

The Championship game is slated for 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 30.

A GoFundMe campaign for Red Land’s team has launched to help pay for expenses as they travel for the tournament in Willamsport, Pennsylvania..

They have already raised over $9,000 out of their goal of $10,000.

Red Land has become the second Pennsylvania team in two years to represent the Mid-Atlantic Region after Mo’ne Davis and the famed Taney Dragons’ run in the summer of 2014.
