Police Ask Public For Help In Ambler Identity Theft Case

An Ambler man was charged over $600 when his credit card was compromised in June, police said.

AMBLER, PA — Police in Ambler are calling on the public to help identify the men behind a recent theft of an Ambler resident's identity.

Police said an Ambler man reported in June that a total of $660.36 had been charged to his credit card at several Quick Chek locations in New Jersey. He told police he believes it was compromised at Manco and Manco's in Ocean City, New Jersey, according to a news release.

Police said surveillance video shows men in a black Ford F-150 with silver rocker trim, a tool box and distinguishable stickers on its tailgate.

Quick Chek employees told police a man or men entered the store with several credit cards.
