Sisters Have Babies Within 22 Hours of Each Other at Same Hospital

Brigid Bink and Emily Whitaker both had boys less than a day apart at Abington Hospital.

Two sisters gave birth within 22 hours of each other this week at a Montgomery County hospital.

According to reports, Brigid Bink and Emily Whitaker both had boys less than a day apart at Abington Hospital.

Bink and Whitaker, who are four years apart, had the same due date—Sept. 15, according to MyFoxPhilly.

And both of their sons decided to come early. Jack Bink was born on Wednesday, Sept.10 at 7:34 a.m. and Owen Whitaker was born 22 hours later, on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 5:39 a.m.

Both woman waited until delivery to find out the gender of their babies but were convinced one was having a boy and the other a girl, CBS Philly reported.

“It’s been the craziest nine months ever,” Whitaker told 6ABC.

The sisters, who are close, say they are thrilled their kids can grow up together.

“It’s so overwhelming. It’s so special,” Bink said.
