Wawa Launches New Curbside Ordering In Whitpain
The local Wawa is the first Wawa in the state to offer the new curbside ordering feature.

WHITPAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A local Wawa has become the fist in the state to offer a new curbside ordering feature.
The new program, now available at the Center Square Wawa on 1015 Dekalb Pike, allows customers to order all items from the store from the comfort of their vehicle.
It officially launched at Center Square Monday. Right now, the only other Wawa where this service is available is in Ewing, New Jersey.

“We are accelerating our plans to push our out-of-store services to a new level – from delivery and catering to new initiatives like curbside ordering," Steve Hackett, director of Wawa's Digital Experience and Solutions Lab, said in a statement. "We’re excited to provide this service at two stores, with plans to expand to 30 additional stores this summer and more broadly in early fall as we continue to provide boundless convenience for our customers.”
Customers pull into a designated parking spot, place an order with the help of a Wawa employee with a handheld device, and then receive the order delivered directly to their vehicle.

This way, customers are able to stop by the Wawa without making a pre-order, but they can safely socially distance from their vehicle while ordering.
Customers can pay via credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
