Whitpain Community Festival: Phillie Phanatic, Fireworks, More

Fireworks, the Phillie Phanatic, a petting zoo, rides, music, food, and a chance to save a life with the National Bone Marrow Registry.

WHITPAIN, PA — The upcoming Whitpain Community Festival - featuring the Phillie Phanatic, live music, and much more - is just a few short weeks away.

The event will be held on Sept. 29 at Montgomery County Community College's Central Campus.

The Love, Hope, and Strength Foundation will be hosting a special bone marrow information table, where guests can learn how simple it is to save a life by becoming a bone marrow donor. All that's required is a cheek swab - which can be done, along with some brief paperwork - at the table.
