The Township has received a $196,300 grant from Montgomery County that will support the proposed PECO Trail.

The grant will fund the construction of a .75 mile section of the 8-foot-wide asphalt trail and a stepping stone creek crossing. When completed, the PECO trail will provide a connection to adjoining townships, neighborhoods, office complexes, local parks, and two regional trails. 

The Township grant was part of $2.5 million in grant funding awarded to municipalities as part of the county's Montco 2040 Grant Program.
