On Monday, June 7, the Whitpain Board of Supervisors held a Pride Month event and raised the Progress Pride flag at the Township Building.
Supervisors were joined by Montgomery County Community College President Dr. Victoria L. Bastecki-Perez, Whitpain’s Human Relations Commission, representatives of Wissahickon High School’s Gay Straight Alliance, and members of the community.

“It was an honor to be part of Whitpain’s first annual Pride Month celebration and ceremonial flag raising,” said Supervisor Chair Michele Minnick. “Flying the Pride flag helps demonstrate our commitment to diversity and inclusion to our residents, students, and business community.”
