Wissahickon Ranked As Top Suburban School By Philly Mag

Wissahickon is among the 40 best schools in the greater Philadelphia area, according to a newly published list.

AMBLER, PA — Great news for local families and students: Wissahickon High School has been named on a list of the top high schools in the greater Philadelphia area.

They were included among 40 other high schools on a list recently published by Philadelphia Magazine.

The magazine used the data from the Pennsylvania and New Jersey departments of education and the National Center for Education Statistics to look at factor's such as enrollment, student-teacher ratio, SAT scores, and students who go on to attend college, among other factors.

There were six Montgomery County high schools on the list, including Methacton, Harriton, Lower Moreland, Lower Merion, Upper Dublin, and Wissahickon.
