Wissahickon Student's Film Earns Award At Youth Festival

AMBLER, PA — A Wissahickon student's film was recently honored with a second place prize in its category at a local youth film festival.

Max Gendelman, a junior at Wissahickon High School, earned second in the experimental film category for his film "Psychosis."

The 12th Annual Greenfield Youth Film Festival held a special awards ceremony online to recognize all winners.

Aspiring filmakers from 21 high schools around the region participated in the festival, and a total of 250 films were submitted for review.

A jury of 25 judges from the nationwide film and communications industry judged the entries.

The festival is a partnership between the Greenfield Foundation, Upper Dublin Education Foundation, and the Upper Dublin School District.
