Woman Arrested For March Shooting In Ambler
A woman has been charged with aggravated assault for a March shooting incident in the borough that left one man hospitalized.

AMBLER, PA — A woman was arrested this week for a shooting that occurred in Ambler back in March.
Alicia Marie Ross, 24, has been charged with aggravated assault for the incident, which left one man hospitalized.
It occurred on Friday, March 27 at around 1:30 p.m. on the 200 block of N. Bethlehem Pike.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear. Ross shot the man in the leg before fleeing the scene.
An investigation led authorities to Ross, who was taken into custody on Monday, April 27.

Following her arrest, Ambler police executed multiple search warrants, which resulted in the discovery of an assault rifle and a handgun.
Ross also faces firearms charges in addition to aggravated assault.
Bail was set at $100,000 cash, and she was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
