After performing a test, Amici said several strains of harmful mold were detected in his unit.
According to the Inquirer, another resident, Hannah Wood, had a runny nose for months and would suffer asthma attacks in her bedroom.
Amico brought in a consultant to test the building for mold, and the results showed nothing abnormal, according to the Inquirer.
The company issued a statement this week, saying it takes the allegations seriously but that residents did not inform Amico of the issue per the leasing agreement.
