2 Bala Cynwyd Businesses Broken Into Over Weekend
Lower Merion Township Police said businesses on Cynwyd Road and Presidential Boulevard were broken into sometime this weekend.
BALA CYNWYD, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township are investigating two commercial break-ins that occurred over the weekend in Bala Cynwyd.
The break-ins occurred Friday, Jan. 22 and Sunday, Jan. 24 at businesses on Cynwyd Road and Presidential Boulevard.
On Jan. 22, the break in occurred at 12:25 p.m. at a business on the unit block of Cynwyd Road.

According to police, whoever broke into the business did so by getting in through an unlocked third-floor window.
After getting inside the burglar stole IP phone and miscellaneous office supplies, police said.

No one was seen in this incident, police said.
Then at 6:21 p.m. on Jan. 24, a business at 1 Presidential Boulevard was broken into.
Entry was gained to the business via an unlocked back door, police said.
After getting into the business the suspect stole cash.
Police described the suspect as a heavy-set black man who was wearing a dark sweatshirt and dark shorts with a white stripe over a pair of dark sweatpants.
The man was seen leaving in an unknown direction, police said.
