2 More Commercial Break-Ins Reported In Bala Cynwyd: Police
Two break-ins occurred Monday in Bala Cynwyd, marking six break-ins in the area since Saturday, Jan. 9.
BALA CYNWYD, PA — The Bala Cynwyd neighborhood, particularly 1 Presidential Blvd., in Lower Merion Township has been a prime target for burglars over the past few weeks.
Lower Merion Police Tuesday reported two commercial burglaries in Bala Cynwyd, and the suspect described matched that of another break-in suspect.
These two burglaries mark six total in Bala Cynwyd since Monday, Jan. 11.

At 10 a.m. on Monday, police discovered two businesses at 1 Presidential Blvd. were broken into.
Whoever got inside did so by breaking into a maintenance closet and removing office keys. Those keys were then used to get inside several businesses.

After getting inside the offices, the burglar removed tools.
Police described the suspect as a heavy-set black man who was wearing a dark sweatshirt and dark shorts with a white stripe over a pair of dark sweatpants.
The man left the area heading in an unknown direction.
This is the same description as a man seen in connection with a break-in that occurred at 6:21 p.m. on Jan. 24 at 1 Presidential Blvd.
In that incident, the burglar stole IP phone and miscellaneous office supplies, police said.
Other recent break-ins occurred at 12:25 p.m. on Jan. 22 at a business on the unit block of Cynwyd Road; at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 1 Presidential Blvd.; and sometime between 12:28 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 and 7:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11 at 1 Presidential Blvd.
