'Bikeway' Pilot Project To Begin Nov 20 in Narberth
A 10-day pilot project for a "bikeway" on two blocks of Windsor Avenue in Narberth will begin Friday, Nov. 20.

NARBERTH, PA — Narberth is testing out a project that would make streets available and safe for cyclists, pedestrians, and vehicles.
A 10-day protected "bikeway" pilot will being at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 along a portion of Windsor Avenue in Narberth. The pilot project will end at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30.
The borough is partnering with Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission and Narberth Cycling Club to demonstrate features of “complete streets” design.

On Nov. 20, residents and visitors will experience and observe temporary roadway improvements along Windsor Avenue, spanning two blocks from Forrest Avenue to Grayling Avenue.
This 10-day pilot will test ideas with minimal cost and minimal use of Borough resources; collect data related to travel speeds, vehicle counts, and bicycle counts; and gather community feedback.

A follow-up community survey will be issued at some point, as well.
