City Avenue Lane Closing Weekdays Through June 4 In Bala Cynwyd
PennDOT said crews will be working on a local lighting improvement project, forcing a right lane closure.
BALA CYNWYD, PA — City Avenue in the Bala Cynwyd section of Lower Merion Township will have lane closures next week, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, drivers will encounter a weekday right lane closure in both directions on City Avenue/US Route 1 Monday through Friday, June 4. Work will not be done on Memorial Day, May 30.
The lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. those days.

PennDOT said the affected area is between Lapsley Lane and 52nd Street/Maple Avenue in Lower Merion and Philadelphia.
The closure is accommodating construction activities under a local lighting improvement project.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction area because backups and slowdowns may occur.
