Day, Nighttime City Ave Lane Closures To Last Through Late March

BALA CYNWYD, PA — City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd will have lane closures due to work on a lighting project, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, City Avenue/U.S. Route 1 will have a right lane closure in both directions between Lapsley Lane and 52nd Street/Maple Avenue.

The closures will begin Tuesday and be in place weekdays through March 22.

Drivers will encounter the closures weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction area because backups and slowdowns may occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
