Felony Burglary Charges Filed After Bala Cynwyd Break-In

Lower Merion Township Police reported another break-in at 1 Presidential Blvd. in Bala Cynwyd, but were able to make an arrest.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — Felony burglary charges have been filed in connection with a break in at an often-targeted Bala Cynwyd property.

According to Lower Merion Police, a break-in occurred at 1 Presidential Blvd. in Bala Cynwyd on Sunday.

Police said someone got into the building at about 6:29 p.m. Sunday by using the main lobby doors.

Then, the burglar went into a separate office suite, police said.

However, he was topped by patrol officers and arrested.

Charged with several counts each of felony burglary, felony criminal trespassing, felony receiving stolen property, and related crimes is Martin Spencer Jackson, 26, of Philadelphia.

Court records show he was held after failing to post $25,000 bail.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 12.
