This season, the American Red Cross is urging eligible donors to be the lifeline for patients in need this holiday season by making an appointment to give blood or platelets.

A drive will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 17 at The Woman's Club of Bala Cynwyd, 382 Bala Ave.
While helping to save lives is likely motivation enough, those who come out to give Nov. 18 through Dec. 18 will also receive a $5 Amazon Gift Card via email, courtesy of Suburban Propane.
