Learn Odd Stories Of West Laurel Hill Cemetery Next Week
A nighttime historical hike through the cemetery will feature odd stories about the cemetery, including a cult leader who is interred there.

BALA CYNWYD, PA – West Laurel Hill Cemetery is a gorgeous place to stroll through. But it can also be eerie.
Even with Halloween past us, the cemetery is hosting a unique event next week where you can learn some spooky stories of the cemetery.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, the public is invited to attend Nighttime History Hike: Odd Stories of West Laurel Hill.

Attendees will learn about the cemetery's history, including some spine-tingling stories, such as a cult leader buried there and a man who took drastic measure to ensure he wasn't buried alive there.
The event is meant for people 13 year old and up.

The cost is $10 for Lower Merion Conservancy Members and $20 for non members. Wolfe Society members get access to the hike at no cost.
The event will raise money for the Lower Merion Conservancy.
Refreshments will be provided.
Attendees should dress warm in case of cold weather and meet at the West Laurel Hill Conservatory, 215 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd.
