Lower Merion Preps For Storm, School District Cancels Activities

Lower Merion Twp. has issued a public information release stating that its crews will be recycling Christmas trees along the Thursday/Friday Holiday week refuse routes until 1 p.m. After 1 p.m. the crews will begin preparations for snow removal, and will continue to work through Friday morning.

The Township offices are scheduled to be open normal hours today and tomorrow, 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Lower Merion School District has announced that all after-school activities have been cancelled for today, and that the IB Class of 2013 reunion that was planned for tonight has been rescheduled for Monday, January 6, at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria.
